Crypto-friendly politicians are making significant gains in the ongoing US elections, with early results indicating strong support for candidates who advocate for digital assets. In the House of Representatives, 220 pro-crypto candidates have been elected, surpassing the 106 elected who are against crypto initiatives, according to Stand With Crypto.

In the Senate races, pro-crypto candidates also show promising results as Republicans take back control of the Senate. Fourteen candidates who strongly support crypto have been elected so far, compared to nine who are opposed. Notably, in Ohio, Republican Bernie Moreno, a strong crypto advocate, has won the Senate seat with 45.82% of the votes, defeating incumbent Sherrod Brown, who is firmly against crypto.

As of press time, the Pennsylvania Senate race is closely watched. Pro-crypto Republican Dave McCormick leads with 44.37% of the votes against Democrat Bob Casey Jr., who holds a neutral stance on crypto. Similarly, in Arizona, both leading candidates—Democrat Ruben Gallego and Republican Kari Lake—are strong supporters of crypto, capturing 28.81% and 25.41% of the votes, respectively.

In Massachusetts, incumbent Senator Elizabeth Warren, known for her strong opposition to crypto, has won re-election with 35.59% of the votes. She defeated Republican John Deaton, a pro-crypto candidate who received 22.26% of the votes.

Michigan’s Senate race is highly competitive, featuring two pro-crypto candidates: Democrat Elissa Slotkin and Republican Mike Rogers. Slotkin leads narrowly with 32.53% of the votes, closely followed by Rogers with 32.45%. The outcome of this race could further influence the legislative approach toward crypto regulation.

In the House races, pro-crypto candidates are also making strides. In Iowa’s 3rd Congressional District, Republican Zach Nunn, a strong supporter of crypto, has been declared the winner with 48.88% of the votes. He defeated Democrat Lanon Baccam, who had no stated position on crypto.

These election results highlight a growing acceptance of crypto in the political sphere. The increased number of pro-crypto candidates gaining seats suggests a potential shift in legislative attitudes toward digital asset regulation.

Per Stand With Crypto, the data reflects updates as of 06:10 GMT on Nov. 6, with vote counts continuing overnight. The outcomes may further solidify the presence of crypto advocates in Congress, influencing the direction of crypto legislation and adoption nationwide.

Bitcoin hit a new all-time high as chances of the Republicans taking control of the White House, Senate, and House of Representatives appear increasingly possible.

UPDATE 06:29 GMT: Fox News has now called PA for Trump, closing the door for a Harris victory should other sources confirm this. Bitcoin recorded another all-time high of $75,300 on the news.
