Sensorium, a leading metaverse development company pushing the boundaries in the Web3 space, has revealed that Jay Hao, former CEO of OKX — one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges — has joined their Advisory Board. This development is considered a major victory for Sensorium, as Hao leverages his extensive experience from his prominent career in the blockchain industry.

Hao’s new role will involve collaborating with a select group of leaders responsible for advising Sensorium on strategically significant matters and offering support and guidance to achieve Sensorium’s Web3 objectives.

The Advisory Board also includes renowned names such as Yann Pissenem, CEO and Founder of The Night League; Danny Gomez, Global Brand Director at Palladium Group IBIZA; Dr. Christian von Reventlow, Ex-Chief Innovation Officer at Deutsche Telekom Group; and Brett Yormark, Co-CEO at Roc Nation Unified.

Upon joining Sensorium’s Advisory Board, Hao shared his enthusiasm for contributing to Sensorium’s mission to deliver top-tier decentralized products:

“I’m thrilled to be part of Sensorium’s journey to deliver world-class decentralized products. Sensorium’s vision aligns perfectly with my belief in blockchain technology and its potential to revolutionize the way brands interact with their audiences.”

In a recent statement, Sensorium provided a glimpse into the platform’s features, including the ability for external developers and content creators to launch their own virtual worlds and experiences — including the ability to utilize the ecosystem token SENSO for a variety of blockchain-based mechanics.

Hao’s expertise is a timely addition to the Sensorium team — which is now concentrating heavily on its Web3 product offerings. During Hao’s tenure at OKX, the company emerged as a significant player in the blockchain market, introducing numerous features and services and unveiling groundbreaking products such as OKXChain — which quickly amassed over 100 million wallets.

Alex Firsov, Director of Sensorium’s Web3 Department, expressed excitement about Hao joining the Advisory Board. Noting that Hao’s extensive knowledge, experience, and proven leadership will be invaluable as Sensorium continues to refine its Web3 strategy.

Sensorium has already established itself as a force to be reckoned with in the metaverse realm — with its flagship Sensorium Galaxy platform available on Steam and its mobile app listed on both the App Store and Google Play.

Earlier this year, the metaverse debuted PRISM — a music-focused virtual world — as the first fully VR-enabled destination for users. Within this environment, visitors can participate in the galactic Sensorium Party around the clock, featuring performances by Sensorium’s cutting-edge AI-powered avatars.
