CardanoGPT has announced the beta launch of Girolamo, an AI-powered chatbot, marking a significant step in its commitment to integrating artificial intelligence (AI) with blockchain technology, according to a press release.

Named after the influential Italian mathematician Girolamo Cardano, this development signifies a new phase in Cardano’s exploration of artificial intelligence within the blockchain sector.

The launch of Girolamo by CardanoGPT represents a stride towards more interactive and multifunctional AI applications within the blockchain framework.

As Girolamo progresses through its beta phase, it promises to be an intriguing addition to the evolving landscape of AI-integrated blockchain solutions.

The Girolamo chatbot is designed to offer real-time, contextually aware responses across a broad range of user queries.

The chatbot can handle inquiries ranging from industry-related questions to general everyday topics. However, its unique feature lies in its ability to generate and interpret images, adding a new dimension to its functionality.

This capability is a technical achievement and a practical application, enhancing user experience in the AI space.

CardanoGPT has set specific criteria for those interested in participating in the beta testing of Girolamo. Participants need to hold a minimum of 5000 CGI tokens.

Upon joining the CardanoGPT Discord server, users must verify their wallet in the #wallet verification channel. Successful verification grants users the @cyborg role, enabling access to the #create-chat-with-girolamo channel for direct interaction with the chatbot.

CardanoGPT issued a disclaimer with the announcement, acknowledging that Girolamo is still in its beta phase and that the accuracy of the information provided cannot be guaranteed 100%.

Cardano’s engagement with AI tech

Cardano’s journey into AI integration with blockchain began with Grace. It was developed with Awakening Health, Hanson Robotics, and SingularityNET.

Grace is an AI robot designed for healthcare applications. The project served as a foundational step, showcasing CardanoGPT’s capability to blend AI technology with practical, real-world applications.

Grace exemplified the potential of AI in providing solutions to complex problems, particularly in healthcare. Its development was a crucial indicator of Cardano’s long-term vision and commitment to advancing AI within the blockchain sector.
