With the crypto market turning volatile and the FOMO kicking in, malicious on-chain activities are resurfacing again. In a very recent incident, a wallet lost an entire portfolio worth $1.3M after falling victim to a phishing scam. The owner of the wallet unknowingly signed a “Permit2” signature. Following the signature, the hacker emptied the wallet in a total of 6 transactions, clearing 165,008 MSTR tokens worth $169K, 73.83 million APU tokens valued at $68K, and a staggering 107.8 billion PEPE tokens amounting to $1.05 million.
