A phishing attack has occurred and $1.28 million in cryptocurrency has been stolen from the address 0xb0b8…40c7 including 108 billion $PEPE, 73.8 million $APU, And 165,000 $MSTR tokens. The money was embezzled by sending the victim a phishing permit signature. The fake address belonging to the scammers behind a $32 million Spark Wrapped Ethereum ($spWETH) theft two weeks ago was linked to this attack that remains a problem in the crypto market. It acts as a powerful reminder that for users, signing digital signatures has to be done carefully so as not to result in such an attack.
