The Indian police and authorities have managed to close yet another notorious ‘investment’ pyramid, the Goldcoat Solar scam. The beleaguered scheme had pulled off the scam across the country and the brains behind the exercise had accumulated giant piles of cryptocurrency. While many of the exchanges being used were quickly shut down, police were able to seize more than $100,000 USDT from a Binance account. The action is part of a wider campaign by Indian law enforcement to crack down on crypto-related frauds, with authorities currently conducting their investigation into other related assets.
