Recent regulatory moves by the Thai SEC aim to mature the industry, allowing institutional-grade funds to invest in crypto products like U.S.-based spot ETFs. Fuwattananukul views this as crucial for Thailand’s fintech ambitions, fostering a balanced ecosystem for traditional finance and digital assets. Real-world asset tokenization is also gaining traction, projected for exponential growth. Despite the shift, retail interest remains strong, with Bitkub still seeing substantial daily trading volume.
