The crypto market today has seen significant shifts, with the market cap shooting up by 7.36% in 24 hours to claim the $2.98 trillion mark. The bullish momentum was catalyzed by a remarkable spike in trading volumes, which rose by 33.24% to $304.65 billion. The optimism amongst investors is justified by the Fear & Greed Index which surged to 87, hinting at “Extreme Greed” in the business. 

Bitcoin Surpasses $88k, Reaches Fresh ATH

Bitcoin’s (BTC) price continues to embark on its mission to claim newer heights. In a recent feat recorded a few hours ago, it has recorded a fresh all-time high (ATH) of $89,604.50. At the time of press, it is trading at $88,741.46, reflecting a 9.12% increase over the previous day. Its market cap has shot up to $1.75 trillion, making it the world’s 8th largest asset, surpassing silver with a valuation of $1.736 trillion. The numbers are currently larger than Spain’s GDP.

Altcoin Round-Up: ETH, SOL, XRP Register Gains

Ethereum (ETH) has witnessed a 5.72% growth, taking the price to $3,343, as it takes benefits from favorable market trends. Solana (SOL) also showed a 6.40% uptick, trading at $219.57. XRP also joined the rally with a 4.21% leap, trading at a price tag of $0.6065.

Top Movers: CRO, AIOZ, and DOGE Shine

Cronos is the front-runner among the top 100 gainers, surging by an outstanding 52.57% to $0.2142. Following next, Aioz Network saw a 40.82% rise, changing hands at $0.732. Dogecoin also gained significant momentum, surging 33.90% to reach $0.3934, riding on boosted community and market engagement.

Top Losers: RAY, GOAT, NEIRO Decline

On the downside, Raydium (RAY) suffered the most among the top assets, declining by 16.06% to $4.71. GOAT followed with a 14.14% drop to $0.7759, while NEIRO fell by 10.71% to $0.002372, marking a pullback in an otherwise bullish market.
