Toonstar, an animation studio for Web3 contents, has successfully partnered with the national retail chain Hot Topic to launch new animated non-fungible tokens (NFTs) collections. Toonstar will now become the official Web3 partner and producer for Hot Topic.

In a July 13 announcement, Toonstar, the studio behind the animated film series, The Gimmick, confirmed the successful partnership with Hot Topic to launch new animated NFTs. Under the new accord, Toonstar will become the official partner and preferred Web3 provider to create the new animated NFTs.

The national retail chain, Hot Topic, will officially drop its animated NFTs on July 21, 2022. During this time, Hot Topic will give its 11 million community members an exclusive chance to have a cameo in the upcoming episode of the Gimmicks series.

Gimmicks Animated NFTs

The highly anticipated community-driven animated NFTs will put the ownership and control in the hands of creators and fans. While commenting about the crypto project, John Attanasio, the CEO and co-founder of Toonstar, said:

“We’re on a mission to bring Web3 into the mainstream, and there is no better partner to make this happen with than Hot Topic. Entering the retail market is a huge leap forward for Web3 adoption. And with this partnership, buying an NFT will now be as easy as buying a t-shirt, opening the door to millions of new creators and owners.”

According to Attanasio, the highly anticipated animated NFTs will be first-of-its-kind. These NFTs will massively unlock more Web3 opportunities for Hot Topic, among other retail brands. Hot Topic will showcase the new community-driven animated NFTs to over 800 stores.

Hot Topic is a destination for entertainment and music enthusiasts that offer licensed apparel, accessories, collectibles, and more.
On the other hand, Toonstar is a Web3 animation studio forging the future of community-driven entertainment. The tech firm is renowned for enabling high-quality, real-time, and interactive.

Toonstar and Hot Topic share the same goal in the digital world. The two tech firm anticipates building the most innovative and engaging fan-based digital products and communities in the Web3 environment.
