Bitcoin, after surpassing Silver and Meta’s market cap earlier this week, it has now officially overtaken Saudi Aramco to become the world’s 7th largest asset, as it surged to a $1.81 trillion market cap. It now only trails Nvidia, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, and Alphabet in terms of the largest market cap. 2024 proved to be a game changer for Bitcoin as the first crypto-based ETF in the US saw huge institutional interest, and going further, Trump’s victory in the US Presidential elections propelled Bitcoin to its newer heights. It is currently trading at $93,098, up over 7% in the last 24 hours.
