On October 7th, the price of Bitget’s exchange native token took a massive plunge despite the broader market recovery. The BGB token experienced a massive correction from $1.14 to a low of $0.53, marking a downfall of more than 50%. Despite the quick plunge, the BGB token has started to make a recovery, but the cause of the dramatic fall remains unclear. The sudden crash in the BGB token is reminiscent of similar drops in the OKB token earlier this year. Notably, the crashes in the OKB token occurred on July 5 and January 23, resulting in the OKB price falling from $1.48 to $0.25.
