CryptoSlate Daily wMarket Update: Dogecoin leads the top 10 for second consecutive day

Over the last 24 hours, the cryptocurrency market cap saw net inflows of $1.51 billion and currently stands at $812.93 billion — up 0.18%.

Bitcoin and Ethereum’s market caps grew 0.08% to $324.28 billion and 0.4% to $149.70 billion, respectively.

The top 10 cryptocurrencies traded essentially flat with upside bias over the last 24 hours. Dogecoin recorded the most significant gains for the second consecutive day, up 2.9%. Meanwhile, TRON posted the worst performance, down 0.6%.

Over the reporting period, the market cap of Tether (USDT) stayed flat at $66.25 billion, while USD Coin (USDC) and BinanceUSD (BUSD) all recorded marginal decreases to $44.20 billion, and $17.98 billion, respectively.

Bitcoin

Over the last 24 hours, Bitcoin grew 0.1% to trade at $16,857 as of 07:00 ET. However, its market dominance stayed flat at 39.9%.

Since the last wMarket report, BTC saw a sell-off that found support at $16,558. The ensuing bounce peaked at $16,898 yesterday evening (ET,) leading into a flat trading range.

Ethereum

Ethereum recorded a gain of 0.4% over the last 24 hours to trade at $1,223 as of 07:00 ET. However, its market dominance stayed flat at 18.4%.

Much like BTC, ETH opened the reporting period trending down to the bottom at $1,182. However, early Thursday evening (ET) saw a spike higher to $1,238 before giving up approximately half those gains to trade flat.

LSK rose by 13.8% in the last 24 hours to $0.83305. The project recently launched a new look website. Its market cap stood at $107.38 million.

SOLO gained 12.0% over the reporting period, trading at $0.18702 as of press time. Its market cap stood at $74.8 million.

FTT recorded 9.8% gains to $0.97929 over the last 24 hours. Former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried was granted bail. Its market cap stood at $322.08 million.

MASK was up 8.9% over the reporting period to $2.41809 as of press time. Its market cap stood at $164.91 million.
