Do Kwon, Sam Bankman-Fried, and Elon Musk among the high-profile crypto wallet bounties on Arkham’s Intel Exchange

Arkham Intelligence’s Intel Exchange, which launched on July 18, is offering thousands of dollars of crypto rewards for those who are able to identify high-profile wallets, including those of Elon Musk, Do Kwon, and Sam Bankman-Fried.

Among the rewards that have been offered by various users have are 10,000 ARKM ($6,587) for Terra founder Do Kwon ‘s wallet, 1,000 ARKM ($658) for Tesla CEO Elon Musk‘s wallet, and 1,500 ARKM ($988) for FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried‘s.

The marketplace’s highest reward at present is reserved for those who can identify the individual behind an address linked to a hack that targeted FTX in November 2022 amidst its collapse. Anyone who can do so stands to earn 100,000 ARKM ($65,870).

Other large bounties are offered to those who can unmask attackers who exploited Wintermute, Nomad Bridge, and Cream Finance. Those bounties offer 50,000 ARKM ($32,935), 10,000 ARKM ($6,587), and 5,000 ARKM ($3,293) respectively.

Other smaller rewards ask users to identify corporate addresses belonging to firms including but not limited to Grayscale, MicroStrategy, and Bitwise.

In total, the intel marketplace currently offers 204,250 ARKM of bounty rewards worth about $134,539 at current market prices. It is unclear whether these rewards may be paid out to more than one individual, or paid out repeatedly for every identified address. In that case, the true amount on offer may be significantly higher.

Marketplace generates controversy

Arkham’s new intel marketplace could shine a light on important hacks and illegal activities. However, the platform has seen significant backlash, as many believe that the platform will primarily be used to “dox” individuals or reveal private information.

Arkham leaders have previously contested that idea; they have emphasized that the marketplace is intended to uncover exploits and fraud.

At present, most of the available bounties appear to have been created by an “Arkham Admin” rather than general users.
