Today NFTs are more than just an investment vehicle as they have risen beyond their status of hype-driven collectibles to become a form of expression. And Lina Valentina’s latest collection intends to bring about a much more significant change with these NFTs.

“No More”

Evolving into a tool of revolution, the true value of NFTs has been recognized since the war between Russia and Ukraine broke out.

People from all around the world who stood in support of Ukraine did their best to ais the country. One of which included the Ukraine NFT flag, which was broken down into 3,271 individual units and was able to generate $6.75 million to help the country.

Today, the No More collection is employing a similar strategy to bring attention to an important cause concerning women. By leveraging the power of web3 and NFTs, the collecting intends to deliver the message of denouncing domestic violence in the world.

Designed by one of the most prominent feminist artists, Lina Valentina, in an interview with Cointribune, discussed her NFT collection, which has been created to provide courage to all women who are still silent while facing this horrific abuse.

Consisting of 7,777 unique NFTs, each NFT of the collection will represent a female face – the artistic touch that made Lina Valentina famous (primarily the mouth and the open zipper).

The collection is already on the way to becoming iconic like the World of Women NFTs, which gained prominence by highlighting the work of women in the web3 ecosystem. NFTs from this collection were also bought by influencers such as Logan Paul, Alec Monopoly, and Gary Vee pushing it to the forefront among the topmost NFTs.

Lina herself stated that she was an owner of one of the NFTs from the World of Women collection that she bought for 8 ETH ($18,426). Thus talking about the unavoidable phenomenon that NFTs and art as a means of expression have been, Lina said,

“NFTs and art seem obvious, a new way for artists to express themselves and be heard. Many artists around me position themselves in the NFT sector. Unfortunately there are still too few female artists in the field, only 5%. The “No More” series also aims to encourage women to invest in this booming sector.”

The future of NFTs’ utility

Discussing the potential that the “No More” NFTs hold, Lina Valentina described the several stages of development planned out in order to engage the community around the series.

The first stage would be to create a digital gallery in the Metaverse, followed by providing 300 lucky owners of a  “No More” NFT to have the chance to receive a digital frame worth $800.

The third stage is to strengthen the link between Lina and the fans of her works. NFT owners can meet the artist at a special exhibition taking place at The Cool HeArt Gallery in Los Angeles.

And finally, the fourth stage is the charitable aspect of the NFT project, as 10% of the income generated by the drop will be donated to the Safe Horizon association, which aims to help victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

This way, “No More” NFTs will grow beyond just being a collectible by becoming a medium of awareness.
