OVER Announces 7th Edition of Creator’s Contest – An Innovation to Drive More Creativity in The Metaverse

Since the term “metaverse” became popular on the Internet, there has been an ongoing debate about what it means and how it differs from what we already experience.

The metaverse is a virtual environment where people can communicate using various technologies. To accomplish this, hardware and software are used in tandem. Although each company has a different vision for this concept, they all envision a network of real-time 3D worlds that many people can enter at once. You can work, learn, chat, relax, attend virtual concerts, and engage in other activities in the metaverse. It is intended to be a realistic simulation of the real world.

On the other hand, the Metaverse maintains its integrity in its marketed form. The Metaverse, according to Facebook, would combine real and virtual worlds, allowing for peer-to-peer, lifelike interaction in virtual workplaces. Collaborations would mimic real-world scenarios by combining AR and VR components to allow people to experience conditions not constrained by physical laws (perhaps). On the metaverse, you could theoretically do anything, including travel, play, work, and running.

VR/AR and the Metaverse

Artificial intelligence (AI), augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR) are all strongly linked to the metaverse concept (VR). You can incorporate virtual objects into the real world by using augmented reality technology. VR uses 3D computer modeling, one of the fascinating types of visual designs, to fully immerse you in a 3D virtual environment. Although wearing a VR headset or other attachments isn’t strictly required in the metaverse, experts believe virtual reality technology will become an important part of the new environment.

For example, the Facebook metaverse may be accessed via augmented reality glasses, virtual reality headsets, and in limited ways, via desktop and mobile applications.

The company has already revealed that it is working on a high-end virtual and augmented reality headset codenamed “Project Cambria.” According to Meta, the device will support mixed reality. It will include new sensors that will allow the virtual avatar to maintain eye contact and mimic the facial emotions of real people. In addition, avatars can better express human emotions and use body language with the help of more advanced technology, giving the impression of real dialogue in virtual environments.

OVER to Drive More Innovation in the Metaverse

OVER is a cutting-edge, world-scale, interoperable mixed reality (AR/VR) Metaverse that is open source and powered by the Ethereum Blockchain. Users can interact with digital content in greater depth using mobile devices such as smartphones or AR glasses.

OVER was launched in 2020 and is now one of the world’s top AR Metaverses.

OVER’s roadmap demonstrates an impressive stride with numerous app releases and features, all aimed at ensuring that the OVER Metaverse experience is enjoyable for those who join and sustainable in terms of providing multiple use cases.

OVER the Reality Announces a New, Completely Revamped Edition of OVER ARwards

OVER has announced the 7th edition of its environment creation competition. This edition, titled “Venue Design Contest,” is a contest in which 3D creators can choose between different categories for their projects, such as Music Halls, Art Galleries, Stores, and Exhibition Halls.

The main changes in this edition concern the jury, the final prize, and the revised guidelines. As a result, the jury will include more dignitaries, such as LandVault, Metahood, MetaMundo, Pangea DAO, Parcel, SandStorm, and Spaces DAO.

This edition will have a substantial final prize pool of $30,000 in OVR tokens. In addition, the creators who rank first (9,000) to tenth (10,000) will be rewarded (750).

The positions from first to fifth will be determined by a highly qualified jury comprised of OVER and partners.

The edition is set to begin on October 4 and end on December 15. Creators can design and upload their projects during these ten weeks.

Furthermore, from December 16 to January 10, users can vote for their favorite creations, with the final rankings being published beginning on January 11. Finally, the final awards ceremony will be held on January 25.
