Shiba Inu Scores Another Major Adoption With Latest Crypto.Com Announcement

Shiba Inu’s adoption rate is growing at an alarming rate as it scores another major adoption with the popular digital asset exchange Crypto.com’s latest announcement. The crypto exchange has included Shiba Inu for its Visa card payments, alongside several other popular meme coins.

Crypto.Com Expands Support For Shiba Inu

Crypto.com has unveiled the incorporation of Shiba Inu into its platform’s Visa card. The crypto exchange made this announcement on June 19 in an X (formerly Twitter) post, disclosing its support for Shiba Inu and other major meme coins such as Floki, PEPE, and Dogwifhat (WIF) for its Visa card.

The Crypto.com Visa card is a crypto prepaid card programme which works similar to a regular debit card but can be used for digital asset transactions and ATM withdrawals. The Visa card supports over 100 digital assets including popular cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC), and Ethereum (ETH).

With over 40 million Points of Sale (POS) worldwide and countless online retail shops, Crypto.com is set to bring new adoption to SHIB.

Shiba Inu investors now have the opportunity to execute daily transactions via this Visa card from any part of the world where Crypto.com’s services are available.

As Crypto.com has made its Visa card available for residents in Singapore, United States (US), United Kingdom (UK), Europe, Canada and various other countries, Shiba Inu is set to continually extend its reach to new audiences within these regions, growing its extensive community and fostering global adoption. Both SHIB investors and regular crypto users will now be able to utilize Crypto.com Visa card for SHIB-related payments.

Moreover, the crypto exchange revealed in its X post that investors can now fund their Visa card with Shiba Inu via their crypto wallets to execute transactions seamlessly through card payments.

SHIB Continues To Gain Widespread Adoption

Shiba Inu has continued to extend its reach to new audiences with the support of various cryptocurrency exchanges in the world. This doggy themed meme coin is available on the majority of the world’s most popular and renowned exchanges such as Binance, Coinbase, and others.

Despite attaining the second-largest meme coin market capitalization and having a large community that holds millions of users, SHIB is still growing in popularity, fueled by its humorous meme coin status and its position in the crypto space. The cryptocurrency recently achieved a major adoption milestone on June 18, as The Sandbox, a popular metaverse gaming platform, announced that it now holds a significant amount of Shiba Inu tokens.

Additionally, The SHIB magazine disclosed earlier this week that Shiba Inu’s layer 2 network, Shibarium has witnessed a remarkable 341% increase in new transactions, surging from 2,990 to 13,191 between June 9 to June 15.
