The community is filled with excitement and anticipation for the upcoming event set to take place in the city of Kyoto, Japan.

Shytoshi Kusama Announces First Ever Meet And Greet

On July 1, pseudonymous Shiba Inu lead developer, Shytoshi Kusama took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce the community’s first meet-and-greet event. The Shiba Inu developer expressed excitement for the upcoming event, declaring his anticipation to meet and connect with the Shibarmy community

Kusama disclosed that the event will take place on July 5, around noon at the IVS official Shiba Inu booth based in the city of Kyoto, Japan. In an earlier post, he thanked the IVF official team for their support and patience ahead of the meet-and-greet event.

The SHIB lead developer also revealed that he had been shy and reserved for years. However, he decided to break out of this shell to become a more outspoken advocate for Web3 technology in the decentralized space. Kusama also uncovered his desire to travel to Japan, disclosing that it was “a dream come true.”

He noted that he was an avid fan of Japanese culture and expressed optimism about meeting different bright minds who are coming together to have an in-depth discussion about Shiba Inu and its future. Kusama outlined a few topics that would be discussed in the meet and greet, including Shiba Inu’s future plans and the Web2 and Web3 space.

He further expressed his gratitude to the SHIB community, declaring that the upcoming event would be a “humbling experience only possible with divine providence.”

A Historical Moment For The Shiba Inu Community

The forthcoming Shiba Inu team meet and greet will mark a historical moment for the Shibarmy community, enabling members to finally see the mysterious ‘Shytoshi Kusama’ for the first time since SHIB’s inception. Although Shiba Inu’s anonymous founder Ryoshi may not be attending, the highly anticipated event will still bring together the community’s greatest minds to debate and explore the intriguing possibilities of the SHIB ecosystem

Following Kusama’s announcement of the event, the community voiced their optimism and support for the upcoming event. One member noted Kusama’s initial plans to reveal himself in 2021, but praised the Shiba Inu developer for taking his time and ultimately following through.

Other members have also shared their anticipation for the meet and greet, posting heartfelt support and even astonishment that the pseudonymous developer was finally revealing himself. Moreover, Lucie, Shiba Inu’s lead marketer, posted memes conveying her excitement and surprise about the news.
