Shiba Inu has published its latest hyper-casual game, Shiboshi Rush, now available for Android users. The game, described as an action-packed adventure, was announced today by Shiba Inu’s marketing lead Lucie (@LucieSHIB) via X. Lucie shared, “Get ready for Shiboshi Rush, the exciting new game from Shiba Inu Games! In this action-packed adventure, players will fend off the Shadowcat army with their Shiboshi army.”

Shiba Inu Releases Its Next Game

Shiboshi Rush is designed as a hyper-casual action game where players are tasked with assembling an army of Shiboshis to defeat the invading “Shadowcat forces.” Players must strategically place their troops and utilize multiplier gates to enhance their army’s size and strength. The ultimate goal is to overwhelm the enemy and destroy their castles, adding a layer of tactical planning to the game’s fast-paced action.

“Deploy your troops at the best locations and utilize the multiplier gates to grow your army. The goal is to overwhelm the enemy and destroy their castles. Are you ready to lead your Shiboshi army to victory? Jump into the battle now!” Lucie wrote via X.

Currently, Shiboshi Rush is available in its initial version 0.1.0 on the Android Google Play Store, where it’s listed as still in the testing phase. This version requires Android 7.0 or higher and falls under the free action game category. The game was uploaded by developer Satara Sujal and was last updated on September 30, 2024. According to Lucie, the publication for Apple devices will follow “soon.”

This release follows closely on the heels of Agent Shiboshi, another game by Shiba Inu, which was released at the end of August for both Android and Apple devices. These releases are part of Shiba Inu’s strategic foray into the gaming industry, particularly targeting the hyper-casual gaming segment which is known for its easy-to-learn, hard-to-master gameplay.

Lucie detailed this strategic direction in earlier communications, “The emphasis on hyper-casual games underscores Shiba Inu’s commitment to inclusivity. These games are designed to be straightforward and enjoyable for players of all skill levels, making them accessible to a wide audience.”

Shib Games, the gaming division of Shiba Inu, initially launched both titles on major platforms such as the App Store and Google Play Store. This approach “ensures a broad reach and a smooth gaming experience before incorporating blockchain features,” Lucie remarked, and added that “the focus is on delivering a polished experience and gathering player feedback to refine future blockchain integrations.”

The Shiba Inu marketing lead also previously hinted at future developments, stating Agent Shiboshi and probably also Shiboshi Rush are set to eventually launch on Shibarium, Shiba Inu’s layer-2 blockchain. “Agent Shiboshi is part of the Shib ecosystem and will eventually launch on Shibarium. The game will debut on Web2 platforms, with a Web3 version in the works.”

At press time, SHIB traded at $0.00001838.
